We started Ava Stud in 2003 with the purchase of Nell a Coloured Irish Cob standing 14.1hh.

She has had two foals to date, Ava Rhys by Diggers Gold, Royal Welsh Champion Stallion (2005) and Ava Myfannra by Hugo, a Dutch Warmblood, three day eventer (2009).

Nell is a dream of a brood mare and carries and delivers her foals without any problem at all.  Both Ava Rhys and Ava Myfannra have the wonderful calm temperament of their mother.

Next year we hope to put her to a Traditional Coloured Cob.
